Hallie Monthei and Cody Allen were selected as Greene County homecoming queen and king. They were crowned Friday afternoon in the school auditorium.
Hallie is the daughter of Larry and Tasha Monthei. In high school she has participated in choir, National Honor Society, Interact, soccer, golf, football cheerleading, and as boys’ basketball manager. She volunteers at Greene County Elementary, is active in her church youth group, and coaches gymnastics.
She plans to attend Iowa State University to pursue a degree in early childhood education.
Cody is the son of Bob and Bridget Allen. He has participated in football and soccer and is president of the Cedar-Highland 4-H Club.
His future plans are undecided.
